Tash, together with her mum, have created Luke and Ludivine, a stylish headwrap business.

While many teenagers may spend their final weeks of the January school holidays relaxing and socialising, one exceptional 13 year old decided to get sewing to make a difference to local families.

Tash, a creative and fun-loving teen together with her talented mum have been designing and selling stylish headwear at a north Brisbane cafe. The Alley Cafe have recorded nearly 30 sales of these headwraps with many customers commenting on the quality and patterns of the headwraps. Not only are these products reasonably priced but Tash has decided to go one step further, donating 50% of profits to Nexus Care.

“The positive feedback was a surprise, I made them just as gifts for friends but it was very exciting to start selling them via The Alley,” says Tash.

When asked what advice Tash would give to other teens that want make a difference, her response was, “Take advice from older and more experienced people.  My Mum has been helpful, you need someone to keep you on track and keep encouraging you.”

We think you’re pretty talented Tash, thank you for creatively supporting Nexus Care!
