At Nexus Care we are passionate about helping people find a fresh start. Over the last twelve months, we have seen the direct impact of the rising costs of essentials. And right now, it doesn’t take much for someone to find themselves in crisis, and needing our support. 

More than ever, local families are struggling to maintain the basics like putting food on the table and keeping a roof over their heads. Homelessness is an increasing problem and more people are struggling without hope.

In the last year, we have seen an increase of almost 40% in people seeking food relief alone. And while a fresh start often begins with food, it usually goes far deeper.

Nexus Care is here to help when life gets hard. We are inspired by our faith in Christ, and passionate about seeing people flourish in the midst of life’s challenges….to see them find their fresh start.

It’s an honour to come alongside individuals and households who are doing it tough and help them find a fresh start.

But, we can only do this because of the generous support of our incredible donors. 

The goal of our End of Financial Year Appeal is to raise $300K. It’s a big ask, but it's what’s needed to ensure we can continue providing our vital services.

Our mission will always remain; to generously give hope and dignity amid immense hardship, encouraging & empowering locals to FIND A FRESH START. 

For this EOFY Appeal, we need to raise $300k to:

Continue providing upwards of 327,000 nutritious meals annually

Increase program infrastructure and facilities to sustainably meet expected growth of 40%

Consolidate and develop our initiatives at Closeburn Country Garden, our social enterprise

Optimising opportunities for Career Coaching Services to expand, to truly help people get back on their own feet. 

Build on our existing quality care and support programs to continue reaching those experiencing hardship throughout greater North Brisbane and beyond.
