Food parcels

Available to anyone experiencing hardship, our food parcels have been developed by a nutritionist and are designed to create a number of meals to support a family. Each parcel includes a minimum of $80 worth of quality, nutritious non-perishable items, fresh fruit & vegetables, meat, bread and dairy products.

A 3-month Fresh Start Program membership costs $7, which entitles people to one parcel a month, for three months. Program membership also provides access to an optional hands-on Cooking Class Course to help people learn how to make easy, healthy and delicious meals using basic ingredients included in our food parcels.

Parcels are available to be collected Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10.00am and 4.00pm at 151 Flockton Street, Everton Park.

School Breakfasts

Each week, we provide a nourishing breakfast to over 600 kids across 5 school in North Brisbane including Everton Park State Primary School, Somerset Hills State School, Stafford Heights State School, Craigslea State High School and Albany Creek State High School.

The breakfast menu has been created by a nutritionist and currently includes banana smoothies, cheese toast, fruit, cereals and nutritious breakfast drinks.

Homeless Program Support

Our Fresh Start Food Program is also privileged to be able to provide support to Manna from Heaven Sandgate Inc and Valley Outreach; two local homeless food programs who do a fantastic job providing food and social support to people experiencing homelessness. Each week, we provide them with bread, fresh fruit, vegetable and other food items.
